Can anyone have too many friends? We don’t think so. The Rainbow SIG and MENSA® (American MENSA®, Ltd) offer many opportunities to meet and get to know others. We have also found that volunteering is a great way to make friends.

Helping others is a great feeling. Purpose is all about using your intelligence and other abilities to make the world a better place. The Rainbow SIG focuses their efforts in three areas: fundraising for the Rainbow Railroad, promoting great relationship skills, and encouraging visibility.

Rainbow Intellect
Why shouldn’t you feel proud about your intelligence? Your intellect is part of your identity. Regardless of your IQ, the Rainbow SIG does not see that as a limiting factor. The critical question is—do you feel you have sufficient intelligence to accomplish your goals in life?
A Little About Us
What is the Rainbow SIG? We are a group of proud, caring and intelligent people who share similar identities and have unique personalities, values and accomplishments. We are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer with a few Allies thrown in for good measure. Our numbers have included a member of the Chicago LGBTQ Hall of Fame, successful contestants on Jeopardy and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, an Ironman Triathlete, a member who traveled to 125 foreign countries, and many more.
